Goals As An Organization
- To raise the bar in terms of knowledge management, research and candidate development,
"professionalizing" these roles both in-house and for independents.
- To provide training and advice from "industry experts".
- To create a forum for interaction, sharing and discussion among members of the search
community, including the research, knowledge management, fee-earning, and corporate
recruiting functions.
- To expand the physical network of the organization nationally and internationally
to capitalize on synergies and experiences that will enable members to undertake
searches more effectively and efficiently.
- To build a support network, in terms of emotional, professional and financial support
(health insurance, discounts etc) for a fragmented industry.
- To establish a "marketplace" whereby independents can market their skills and search
firms can find, contact and reference outside contractors.
Our Mission Statement
"To enhance professionalism and provide a forum for interaction and development
among members of the search community"

Code of Ethics
- Members should maintain the highest ethical standards, treating all client, candidate
and reference information discreetly, and conducting business in a straightforward
and honorable manner.
- Members should uphold the letter and spirit of all local, state and federal laws
that govern recruiting and hiring practices, while seeking the most qualified candidates
for the job.
- In presentations and interviews, the client, the position and the candidate should
be presented factually, respecting the confidentiality of sources/references, the
candidate’s privacy and the client’s information.
- Objectivity, accuracy, an appropriate sense of urgency and honesty concerning “off-limits”
agreements should characterize relationships with clients.
- Relationships with candidates should be direct and discreet; feedback on their status
in the search should be timely, and the privileged nature of the information obtained
should always be at the forefront of those relationships.
